1.1.1 Connecting through Microsoft ODBCIf you are using a database engine supporting ODBC like Microsoft Access®, Microsoft SQL Server®, Oracle®, etc., you may choose this approach. Follow the below steps to setup your database : A. Install your database engine. B. Use "Data Sources (ODBC)" in "Control panel" to Make a DSN for your database. C. Run Glassroom chat server D. Open your web browser and point it to Glassroom control panel pages. Enter "Server Configuration" page. E. Edit these values in "Server Configuration" page : (Suppose that you have selected "glassroom" as your DSN name in stage B)
You can enter username and password for your database connection if it's required. F. Go to main page of Glassroom control panel and select "Server Control" page. Turn the chat server off and wait for a while then turn it on. G. At the first time you turn the chat on, Glassroom will make built-in accounts automatically :
H. Open log files and verify the process of creation of built-in accounts. If any problem occurred during the process of connecting to database, you can inspect the problem by errors reported in log files.
